The Wolf Mountain Lodge
Our Location
The Wolf Mountain Lodge is nestled on a hillside on the Wyoming side of Ash Creek - a perennial stream running from the Wolf Mountains to the Tongue River, ten miles away. Montana can be viewed from the veranda and is a short walk to the north. The valley is home to mountain lion, bear, bobcat, mule deer, turkey and many species of birds.
The Wolf Mountain Lodge
At the end of an active day, you will return to your cozy room in the beautiful newly built Wolf Mountain Lodge. Constructed of large, finely finished logs and furnished with plush cowboy décor, the lodge is your Wyoming home away from home.
Designed to provide a comfortable but elegant base during your stay with us, the lodge offers family-style dining, common rooms, and eight guest rooms where you will find quiet and calm after a busy day.
After dinner, you can linger over dessert and relive highlights of the day, take a relaxing walk along the creek, sit and enjoy the views from your private deck, or enjoy a nice long soak in the hot tub.
We are here to make your ranch experience fun, educational and fulfilling. With just about one staff member for each guest, we're able to provide you with the experience of a lifetime. Padlock Ranch is a place you will want to return to again and again.
Our guests also take pleasure in rest and relaxation, whether around an evening campfire, on a leisurely trail ride, a hike, or just enjoying the Wolf Mountain Lodge. Cell phones do not work at the lodge and are discouraged during your visit. Our goal is to provide a truly restful stay, a respite from stress, and an opportunity for quieting the mind while putting your hands to work. There is an available landline as well as wireless internet access throughout the lodge.
